Pani Mahal

In front of Asar Mahal, upon one of the bastions of the old citadel wall, are the ruined walls of a little pavilion known as the 'Pani Mahal'. This was originally a little garden house or pleasure resort, occupying an elevated position. It was probably called the Pani Mahal as it overhung the surrounding water of the moat. The few small walls that remain are covered with clean-cut surface ornament. The masonry of these walls is particularly well-finished.
